I just got the Westway to the world dvd... What is that song that is playing on the DVD menu?
Its just great. But I couldnt find it on the dvd or anywhere.

What would be the best song to open the ultimate Clash concert?

Then what would close it? Difficult I know but gets you thinking.

I would open with Tommy Gun. That opening 5 stroke drum phrase and subsequent crunching E chord gets me every time!

and to end with? English Civil War followed by I Fought The Law.

Clash collaborator Mikey Dread passed away on 15 March 2008 from a brain tumor. He was 54.

The 2008 YrockOnXPN.org Modern Rock Madness grid is up and The Clash made the list of 64 artists in the tournament! It's kinda like the NCAA basketball tourney, but with bands instead - and listeners vote for their favorites in one-on-one matchups to see who advances! I'm reading "Redemption Song, The Ballad of Joe Strummer". A very detailed biography. A compelling and thorough biography on the man once called "Woody". Joe was definately an interesting guy, if indeed sometimes troubled and haunted.

does anybody know if the future is unwritten come out on dvd in the US yet. if so does anybody know where i can get a copy? i can only find region 2 for europe. thanks
