Those Jackson kids are adorable! What! No mention of Pink's outstanding performance--twirling and splashing water on all the celebs (help I'm melting) Her voice never quivered. Unlike, Taylor and Stevie--never Lidaliked Stevie I think her voice is awful. I do a great impersonation kinda Katherine Hepburn and Joan Rivers mixed together --volatile.

is the best song of Clash

i think that this song, "Straight to Hell", should be on that list too. what do you think ? Smiling

but it wasn't on the list

is my favorite single of Clash. But, I won't vote them anyway. why? just want to do it. he-he. disfunzione erettile

Wasn't that released as a single? That had half the kids in my high school walking around droning "Do the worm on Acropolis.....Slam Dance cosmopolis.........Enlighten the populace..." In that Allan Ginsberg voice, even homophobic jocks who had no idea who Ginsberg was...

emo boy

I pick "Clash City Rockers". Lets rock dude. The songs in that album is really good. I love you man. It will be better than those penis pumpe damn thing. Do not wait for me, just rock.

Career Opportunites is my ultimate favorite song by The Clash. it is amazing how a song written almost 30 years ago in England relates to life in America today.

My older brother played me White Man In Hammersmith Palais and I chucked my Queen and Wings albums in the bin!

As a huge punk child i think that this is the anthem for punks its the all meaning of punk.. ANARCHY ALL DA WAY!!! =P

My favoritw song is....................... oh Pleeeease .... "A" favorite Clash song .... I've just named my new son Billy-JOE STRUMMER K******* and I am so hard pressed to name my fav 15 let alone one and aren't we ALL the same.... LONG LIVE THE CLASH

Any Clash, Is GREAT Clash.....Cheers!

The Clash is deadnuts!!!......Universal.....Cheers!

Wow...Clampdown was the end-all, be-all for me...kind of the way Career Opportunities was...screw the system and all of it's players! "...but lately one or two has fully paid his due"

The writing on this song was an absolutely balls-to-the-wall, we-see-right-through-your-game, F*#! YOU type of song...in a class by itself.

I'm still waiting for the Career Opportunites to knock!

Love you guys!

"White Man In A Hammersmith Palais" was always my favourite clash song, the second i heard it.i fell in love with the clash

there should be a vote for best ever track by The Clash

mine goes for Stay Free........class

If you had to choose just ONE song to represent The Clash, this would be it. It has all the power and the passion - listen to the version on 'From Here To Eternity' and tell me it's not one of the greatest songs ever written. Lyrically it summed up life in England at the time for me and it showed a musical maturity way beyond expectations.

Hello!!
Im Mercedes from Argentina, why is such a difficult task to vote these song?
I love ALL of them!!!

My older brother played me White Man In Hammersmith Palais and I chucked my Queen and Wings albums in the bin!

Imagine Joe sitting in his corner writing these lyrics

The beginning of Tommy Gun is the sound that best characterizes The Clash song... Joe's voice? please... it gives you chills. The only reason London Calling is the most popular is because its the most mainstream

they should of put train in vain on there it would so have my vote.

VIVA Clash ViVIA Clash

I would have to go with Pressure Drop. They ripped that song apart. The modified bass line is energetic You can just feel the guitar tearing into Your ears, and if you can't then your doin' it wrong wrong wrong

Hola, from Argentina!!

Aguante los Clash pordioossss!

Charlie Don't Surf or Robber Dub? Those songs are better than a few songs on that list!

"Origination comes from Instinct not Intellect"

or is everyone a bunch of poser who jumped on the wagon cause their friends liked them or because they heard rock the casbah or should i stay or should i go and thought they sounded good

While not a huge commercial success this song made me more aware of the broader world around me than anything I was learning in school at the time. For that reason alone is stands out to me as what the Clash was all about, raising awareness. They didn't have answers just questions some of which i'm still trying to figure out my own answers for.

Oh wow. The lyrics are like a dream- inspiring, revolutionary, beautiful and flowing. The ostinato gigs deep down into your heart. The marching yells give such strong emotion. The bass is so rhythmic.
What a song. Ever seen the video? I have never seen anyone sing so genuinely. The moment I'd finished watching the video, I looked up Joe Strummer, and whenI found out he was dead I nearly started crying.
What a song. It's the reason I started listening to the Clash, and it is the most revolutionary song ever written.

Respect.

But all their songs are just amazing anyway : D

OH MY GOSH! LONDON CALLING IS MY FAVORITE SONG FROM THEM.....

1-2 Crush On You has got to be in with a shout ?

Mind you. I'd be torn between 'The Cool Out', 'Mag-Dance' ,'Cool Confusion' or 'First Night Back in London'

train in vain should have been a choice.

Wasn't that released as a single? That had half the kids in my high school walking around droning "Do the worm on Acropolis.....Slam Dance cosmopolis.........Enlighten the populace..." In that Allan Ginsberg voice, even homophobic jocks who had no idea who Ginsberg was....... F%&@ing classic.
