Carbon/Silicone played Boston in early April, the same night, in fact, that I sat watching Joe Jackson in the Sommerville Theater.

Didn't find out about it until the following week.

I hope you got to see the PBS (3/1/08) special on "The Clash Live" It was great to see them so young!

He's also produced a bunch of stuff... most notably the Libertines (who are obviously Clash influenced)

I just heard The News by Micks latest band Carbon/Silicon and I knew immediately that it was him and I must say it is a very impressive song that hearkens back to his Clash stuff more than anything I've heard him do since the breakup.

It is pretty cool stuff

He's got a new band called Carbon Silicon; it tells you all about it in the news section of this site. I was just listening to them and I like it.
