Here comes yet another re-release of London Calling. I love this lp but come on guys--this cheapens the whole thing! So it is a favorite with critics and fans alike and help break The Clash in North America. But is that any reason to flog the same product endlessly to fans every few years? You had the 25th anniversery edition five years ago and now a 30th with nothing new from the sounds of it. I love the Clash, but this is completely unnecessary. How about a decent live recording of a show they headlined so that it doesn't sound rushed? How about a dvd of an entire concert? Maybe a cd compilation of some interviews?
